About Charmed Yogi

The Blog~

A Charmed Yogi came to fruition during my 200 hour yoga teacher training as a way to journal & share inspirations through the practice of yoga and meditation.

My Teaching Style~

As an adult with Cystic Fibrosis – a genetic lung disease – I discovered yoga in 2000 as a way to increase strength, flexibility, manage stress and increase breath capacity.  And, my life was forever changed. I became a Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Instructor (RYT200) to share the gift of yoga with others.

In addition to the formal ashtanga-inspired training I received at Peachtree Yoga Center, I’ve studied under Doug Keller, Jasmine Tarkeshi, Coral Brown, Sara Ivanhoe, Sarah Faircloth and Sean Tebor.   Drawing from all traditions of yoga as well as pranayama (breathwork) and meditation,  I incorporate body-alignment, breathing and relaxation into Vinyasa-style classes. My teaching style reflects strong foundation in anatomy, kinesiology, subtle energy, yoga philosophy and much humor.  I’m committed to offering my students a well-balanced yoga experience in a peaceful, safe, and relaxed environment. I love inspiring and being inspired by others.
